James Mahoney is a seasoned entrepreneur with over two decades of experience spanning sales, leadership, and business development. After beginning his career in the medical device industry, he founded Mason James Lighting and Supply, now a trusted provider of high-quality, energy-efficient LED solutions for clients ranging from municipalities to Fortune 500 corporations. His focus on innovation, operational excellence, and long-term client value has earned him industry recognition and lasting partnerships.
Together with his wife, international model and stylist Alena Mahoney, James co-founded Madame Mocktail—a premium beverage brand redefining the non-alcoholic experience. Blending bold flavors with refined presentation, Madame Mocktail embodies James’s vision of building sustainable, lifestyle-driven businesses that align with modern consumer values and the evolving “sober-curious” movement.
Alena Brook Mahoney is the visionary behind Madame Mocktail and a celebrated international model with over 15 years of experience in the fashion industry. Signed with the world-renowned Ford Models, Alena’s career has taken her across the globe, living and working in New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Milan, Tokyo, Shanghai, and Greece. Her journey through the fashion capitals of the world gave her a deep appreciation for culture, artistry, and refined lifestyle experiences—values she has now poured into the creation of Madame Mocktail.
Just as she graced international runways and campaigns with elegance and confidence, Alena brings the same sense of style and sophistication into crafting a brand that redefines what it means to enjoy a drink. Madame Mocktail is not only a reflection of her global perspective and creative eye, but also of her commitment to offering an elevated, inclusive experience—designed to become a household staple for all who enjoy the art of celebration.
Our Story
Madame Mocktail began as a passion project in 2021, when founder Alena created an Instagram page to review and share unique mocktail’s from restaurants.
Inspired
Inspired by a Bridgerton-style persona, she became the hidden “Madame of Mocktails,” introducing followers to sophisticated, alcohol-free experiences.
Fast forward two years..
Alena met James, an entrepreneur with a drive for building businesses. After quickly falling in love and getting married, James asked a simple but life-changing question: “Why don’t you make Madame Mocktail your own drink?”
In January 2025,
That idea became reality. Together, Alena and James transformed Madame Mocktail from a social media passion into a premium non-alcoholic beverage brand. Today, the company proudly offers four classic flavors — Black Cherry Moscow Mule, Passionfruit Mojito, Lemon Drop Martini, and Cranberry Cosmo-Not — each bottled in elevated, luxury glass packaging that feels glamorous and timeless. Alena herself embodies the brand, resembling the woman in the logo — the Madame Mocktail — a symbol of bold flavor, elegance, and zero proof.
